= Security = The world of Earth-11717 is not protected by superheroes alone. Behind every alien invasion, dimensional breach, metahuman riot, or cosmic incursion stands a vast and often invisible web of agencies, protocols, prisons, intelligence networks, emergency systems, and contingency plans collectively known as the global security apparatus. Some are public. Many are not. This is the world of classified files, black-budget projects, orbital surveillance platforms, metahuman containment facilities, and crisis response doctrines designed for threats beyond conventional human understanding. Here one finds organizations like PHASE II and PHASE III, official government superteams such as The Corsairs, hidden detention centers, anti-metahuman weapon systems, continuity-of-government bunkers, and the vast bureaucratic machinery tasked with preparing humanity for the impossible. The modern age has forced governments to confront terrifying realities: * people who can level cities, * machines that can rewrite minds, * creatures from beyond spacetime, * and phenomena capable of ending civilization itself. Out of this necessity arose systems like the [[Crucible:MTAS|'''Metahuman Threat Assessment System (MTAS)''']], emergency advisory networks, multinational response treaties, and strategic metahuman deployment protocols. Most citizens only glimpse this world during disasters—through evacuation alerts, emergency broadcasts, or grainy footage of armored response teams racing toward catastrophe. But beneath the surface exists a constant hidden war of intelligence gathering, containment, crisis management, and preparation. Because in Earth-11717, the next emergency is never far away.
