Teams
βAlone, a hero can save a city. Together, we can save a world.β
βKodiak
Superhero teams are among the defining institutions of Earth-11717. Across every era of history, heroes and villains alike have discovered the same truth: there are threats too great for any single champion to face alone. From the patriotic wartime legends of the Victory Squadron to the cosmic defenders of Watchstar, from government-backed organizations like the Corsairs to outlaw vigilantes such as the Strong Persuaders, superhuman alliances have shaped the course of modern history. Some teams exist to defend the innocent. Some exist to conquer. Some barely survive each other. Heroic teams often reflect the ideals of their age. Golden Age groups fought spies, saboteurs, and occult fascists during World War II. Silver Age teams embodied optimism, scientific wonder, and larger-than-life adventure. Bronze Age organizations became more complicated, political, and morally uncertain. Modern teams confront global conspiracies, alien invasions, rogue artificial intelligences, and crises capable of threatening reality itself. Not all teams are heroic. Supervillain groups such as the Fearsome Five, Marauders, and Stormriders have repeatedly demonstrated that villains can be just as dangerous when united as heroes are. Some teams are formal organizations with headquarters, funding, support staffs, and government authority. Others are temporary alliances forged during moments of catastrophe. A few become families. Others collapse into betrayal, tragedy, or madness. Yet despite their differences, all super-teams share one thing in common: They become larger than the individuals who founded them. == Major Teams == === Hero Teams === * Watchstar * Unity League (Silver Age) * Night Shift === Historical And Alternate Hero Teams === * Midnight Men * Alpha Legion * Watchstar 3000 === Villain Teams === * Fearsome Five * Hellrazers * Blackhearts * Vermin
Explore Teams
Use this page as a guide to the major hero and villain alliances of the Crucible Universe.
