Ruthless, fanatically loyal to the Nazi regime, and utterly convinced of his own superiority, Von Teufel rose rapidly through the hierarchy of the Third Reich through battlefield success and brutal efficiency.

He cultivated an image of icy aristocratic menace that proved highly useful for Nazi propaganda. To supporters of the Reich he was presented as the perfect German officer: disciplined, fearless, intelligent, and merciless toward enemies.

The reality was even worse.

Von Teufel oversaw massacres, occult investigations, political purges, and secret military operations across occupied Europe. Rumors of his involvement in Nazi occult programs circulated long before his death, though how much he truly understood about the supernatural remains uncertain.

What is certain is that he died violently near the end of the war.

And refused to stay dead.

== Resurrection By Nekrös ==

After his death in battle, Von Teufel’s corpse was recovered by agents of the dark occultist [[Crucible:Nekros|Nekrös]], who recognized the usefulness of preserving such a ruthless spirit. Through forbidden rituals and necromantic power, Nekrös restored the fallen officer to a mockery of life.
