Madam Winter became one of the defining magical antagonists of the modern era and one of the central figures in the occult side of the Crucible Universe. Her stories blend Cold War history, ancient supernatural horror, political intrigue, and high fantasy into a uniquely elegant and dangerous villain.

Among sorcerers, a common saying persists: “Summer passes. Winter waits.”
