== Legacy Of The Crisis ==

The legacy of Terra Ultima continues to haunt Earth-11717. The destruction of Earth-00567 proved that entire worlds can die suddenly and without warning. It also raised disturbing questions about the stability of alternate timelines, the safety of vibrational barriers, and the existence of powers capable of collapsing a planet into a black hole.

The Alpha Legion’s arrival forced Earth’s heroes to confront an uncomfortable truth: heroism does not become harmless merely because it wears a noble face. A superteam with enough power and certainty can become a threat even when its members believe themselves righteous.

For [[Crucible:Watchstar|Watchstar]], the [[Crucible:Guardians|Guardians]], and other native heroes, the Alpha Crisis became a defining test of principle. They had to oppose people who might have been allies under other circumstances, and they had to do so while acknowledging that the Legion’s fear was not irrational. Terra Ultima really had died. The question was whether the death of one Earth justified the control of another.
