To Dark Angel, the ''Archangel'' is more than transportation. It is her aerial command post, her surveillance platform, her rescue vehicle, her emergency shelter, and her most important crimefighting tool.

Few criminals ever see it clearly. Fewer still understand how much of Dark Angel’s war on crime is made possible by the silent shadow circling above them. When the ''Archangel'' appears, it usually means Dark Angel has already chosen the battlefield, blocked the exits, and prepared the trap.
