== The Other Kindreds ==

The Tobon arrived in a land already ancient.

The '''Rhone''' are the people among whom most Tobon live and travel, and relations between them range from intimate friendship and shared communities to suspicion and prejudice. In many places the two peoples have lived beside one another for generations.

The '''Vulkah''' are valued trading partners whose goods travel far beyond the Deep, often through hands that know the roads well.

The '''Uragh''' inhabit lands where mobility is understood very differently. Wanderfolk and Uragh may both spend much of their lives moving, but the resemblance can be misleading; wagon roads and the open plains produce very different societies.

The '''Gholibin''' share with the Tobon a tendency to be underestimated by taller peoples. Beyond that, their histories and ways of life are profoundly different.

The '''Seylandri''' are encountered rarely. To a people accustomed to carrying stories from grandparents and great-grandparents, meeting someone who personally remembers events from centuries ago can be deeply unsettling.

Tobon respond to this, as to most things, in different ways.

Some become reverent.

Some become curious.

Some ask far too many questions.
