== Mission ==

Black Light exists to confront threats that transcend national borders and political interests. Unlike conventional intelligence agencies, it does not serve any single government or ideology. The organization views itself as a guardian operating above geopolitics, intervening only when global stability or human survival is at stake.

Its operations have reportedly included dismantling terrorist networks, preventing the release of engineered plagues, sabotaging rogue artificial intelligences, recovering dangerous alien technologies, and neutralizing covert metahuman threats before they escalate into open catastrophe.

The agency’s leadership believes that modern threats evolve too quickly for traditional governments to respond effectively. Black Light was therefore designed to function independently, with the speed, secrecy, and flexibility necessary to confront crises before they become public disasters.
