Veronica DiVega grew up in a South American nation ravaged by political instability, guerrilla warfare, and the influence of powerful ''narcotrafficantes''. Violence was not an interruption to ordinary life—it was ordinary life.

From an early age, DiVega learned how to survive in environments where weakness was quickly exploited and trust was often fatal. She became adept at moving through jungles, cities, and conflict zones alike, developing skills as a tracker, scout, and combatant long before she formally entered mercenary work.
