== Origins ==

The precise origins of SKULL remain uncertain. Intelligence archives suggest the organization emerged during the early Silver Age from a fusion of extremist political movements, rogue military networks, covert financiers, and authoritarian ideologues who believed democracy and ordinary humanity were fundamentally weak.

SKULL rejected nationalism, religion, and conventional politics in favor of a doctrine centered on elitism, control, and engineered superiority. Its members believed humanity should be ruled not by nations or elected governments, but by a disciplined elite capable of imposing permanent order upon a chaotic world.

To SKULL, freedom was inefficiency.
