== Background ==

Varda Kallia was born on the world of [[Crucible:Izar|Izar]], the daughter of its president and a member of its elite defense forces. From an early age, she demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, and bravery, rising quickly among her people as a capable warrior.

Her life changed when the Earth hero [[Crucible:Space Ace|Space Ace]] was accidentally transported to Izar. What began as an unexpected encounter soon grew into a shared mission, as Varda joined him in opposing the alien menace known as [[Crucible:The Hive|the Hive]].

During this conflict, Varda distinguished herself as both a fighter and a leader—and she and Space Ace fell in love.
