== The Seylandri in the Age of the Comet == The [[Sigil:Age of the Comet|Age of the Comet]] presents Seylannon with a question its people have avoided for centuries. How long can survival remain the highest good? The [[Sigil:Shroud|Shroud]] covers lands that once formed part of the world of Tar Aerchel. The Vorghol who dwell beneath it descend from weapons created specifically to hunt Seylandri during the Great Wrath. The Rhone now fight an enemy born from a war their distant ancestors scarcely understood. The Seylandri understand it very well. Yet understanding does not produce an obvious duty. Some believe their people have already paid beyond measure for the crimes and follies of the elder age. Others question whether withdrawal can remain moral when ancient consequences continue to destroy lives beyond Seylannon's borders. Wayfarers bring news home. The councils debate. The world changes while they deliberate. This tension lies at the heart of the Seylandri in the present age. They are not simply fading remnants awaiting the end, nor perfect ancients whose wisdom younger peoples should obey. They are survivors of a civilization that once spread from mountain to sea. They remember what happened when that civilization believed itself powerful enough to master the world around it. Now they must decide what responsibility memory demands of them. {{SigilNav}} </div>
