== The Rogue Planetoid ==

Praxis itself is a captured rogue planetoid, ancient, scarred, and heavily modified. Its original surface is buried under alien architecture, defense systems, artificial habitats, landing spires, spectator vaults, service tunnels, prison levels, and the vast central arena complex that gives the world its reputation.

The planetoid’s atmosphere has been artificially enriched with exotic gases, allowing a wide range of alien species to survive without full environmental suits. It is not comfortable for everyone, but it is breathable or tolerable to enough species that Praxis can host fighters and spectators from across the galaxy. For those with more specialized needs, the facility maintains sealed habitats, pressure chambers, aquatic tanks, methane lounges, high-gravity cells, and luxury atmospheric suites.

Gravity across Praxis is carefully controlled. Some districts maintain near-standard gravity. Others are tuned for alien physiology. The arenas themselves may alter gravity from one battle to the next, giving the planetoid its reputation for impossible combat.
