== Layout == The Lair is organized around the old station concourse and platform levels. The main platform serves as the central working area, large enough to house equipment, storage racks, workbenches, training apparatus, and Manhunter’s specialized transport. Former service rooms have been converted into dedicated facilities, while old access tunnels provide hidden routes through the surrounding neighborhood. The base includes an extensive electronics suite, a machine shop, an electronics workshop, a vehicle bay, a training room, an armory, secure storage, medical supplies, communications stations, briefing space, and enough living conveniences to sustain long nights of work. It is not luxurious, but it is practical, durable, and deeply suited to Manhunter’s methods. The atmosphere is half bunker, half workshop, half forgotten subway ghost. The lighting is utilitarian. The walls are patched, painted, reinforced, and wired. Old tile sits beside modern steel. Antique pneumatic machinery stands near computer racks and surveillance monitors. Nothing is there for show. Everything either works, might work after some soldering, or is waiting to be stripped for parts.
