== Operational Facilities ==

Star Key contains the facilities required by a world-class superhero team. Surface and underground systems support transportation, medical care, research, intelligence work, engineering, training, and crisis response.

The island includes recreational facilities, athletic fields, a guesthouse, a boathouse, machine shops, vehicle hangars, a landing pad, a submarine dock, and secure storage areas for sensitive equipment. A greenhouse and large gardens, originally planted by [[Crucible:Arcana|Arcana]], remain among the island’s most distinctive features, combining beauty, privacy, and, in certain sections, botanical specimens better left undisturbed by visitors.

Beneath the mansion lies an extensive secure multilevel underground complex. These levels contain conference rooms, medical suites, science laboratories, engineering labs, training rooms, secure archives, emergency shelters, computer systems, communications hubs, containment areas, and defensive infrastructure. Much of the real work of Watchstar takes place below the genteel surface of the old house.
