== Containment Systems == Vulture Island’s greatest strength lies in its layered containment systems. Physical barriers are only the first line of defense. They are backed by overlapping technologies and protocols designed to address the full range of known superhuman capabilities. Energy suppression fields can reduce or nullify certain powers. Psionic countermeasures disrupt mental influence. Reality-stabilization systems are rumored to exist in deeper levels, intended to prevent teleportation, phasing, or dimensional escape. Magical containment protocols—developed in cooperation with arcane specialists—are used to bind or limit supernatural abilities. Security personnel are extensively trained and supported by automated systems. Surveillance is continuous. Anomalies are flagged instantly. Response teams can be deployed within seconds to any part of the facility. Even so, PHASE II does not rely solely on technology. Procedures, redundancies, and constant reassessment are built into daily operations. The assumption is not that the system is perfect, but that it must always be improving.
