== Reputation ==

To the public, Black Iron is a necessary evil: a place built to hold people too dangerous for any ordinary prison. To many superheroes, it is a useful but uncomfortable institution, one that solves practical problems while raising uneasy questions about secrecy and due process. To metahuman criminals, it is a name spoken with fear, resentment, and grudging respect.

Among inmates, Black Iron has an almost mythic reputation. Some claim no one leaves unless PHASE II allows it. Others insist every cell has a flaw, every guard has a price, and every system can be beaten by the right mind or the right power. Both claims have been proven true at different times.
