== The Vajrakoti Tradition ==

Vajrakoti magic is disciplined, old, and intensely ritualized. It emphasizes protection, containment, mental clarity, geomancy, spirit negotiation, mantra, symbolic weapons, sacred architecture, and the command of dangerous forces through discipline rather than domination. Vajrakoti mystics often regard Western ceremonial magicians as brilliant but reckless, while Western occultists sometimes complain that Vajrakoti masters answer every question with a proverb, a test, or three years of silence.

The kingdom’s magical orders are closely tied to its monasteries and royal institutions. Some are public religious bodies. Others are secretive circles charged with guarding particular relics, passes, caves, or sealed beings. The distinction between monk, sorcerer, scholar, exorcist, and royal officer is often unclear to outsiders.

Vajrakot is especially respected for its protective magic. Wards made in the Vajrakoti style are said to be among the strongest on Earth. Its exorcists are feared by possessing spirits. Its astrologer-adepts are consulted before major occult operations. Its geomancers can read disturbances in the Earth’s subtle fields that would be invisible to most magicians.
