== Personality ==

General Bane is cold, disciplined, and utterly merciless. Unlike ranting tyrants or theatrical villains, he rarely raises his voice or indulges in displays of emotion. He speaks and acts with the calm certainty of someone who has already witnessed the death of hope on a planetary scale.

What fragments of his original self remain buried beneath the Terror’s corruption are unknown.

There are occasional hints, however, that Bane remembers the world he failed to save. Some who faced him claimed his hatred for resistance fighters carried a strange undertone of grief, as though he despised them for reminding him of his own doomed people.

If true, it only makes him more dangerous.
