== Seylannon == Seylannon is the last homeland of the Seylandri, hidden within the great southern forests for roughly a thousand years. It is not Tar Aerchel continued in miniature. Seylannon belongs to the world after the Great Wrath. It was shaped by survivors and their descendants: people who remembered what their civilization had been capable of and what that civilization had done to itself. Rhone sometimes call Seylannon the Hermit Kingdom. The description is convenient but misleading. Seylannon is not a kingdom in the ordinary Rhone sense. It has no monarch comparable to the rulers of Angharais, Rhess, or Sarrivel, and its people do not regard their homeland as merely another state among states. It is refuge, homeland, archive, and sanctuary. At its heart lies Mirielath, the Mirror of the Breath, a great lake known to outsiders as Aelfmere. Around it and through the surrounding forests lie the living settlements of the Seylandri. The great forest is Tar Maelion, the green heart of the hidden land. The Aelfwash flows outward toward the borderlands adjoining Angharais and Calael. To outsiders it appears merely another river flowing through deep forest. Those who attempt to follow it into Seylannon without welcome discover otherwise.
