The Triadic Faith traditionally rejects forced worship.

This principle arises directly from the nature of the Three.

Worship extracted through terror mocks Ardis.

A confession produced through torture cannot satisfy Vannimar's concern for truth.

A creed imposed solely through superior force turns Inglorian's strength into domination.

The older formulation is uncompromising:

Temples may censure clergy, remove officials, assign penance, refuse institutional privileges, or expel members whose behavior gravely violates the faith's principles. Such measures are intended to restore trust and order rather than compel belief.

This has not prevented Triadic institutions from sometimes behaving badly.

It has given later generations very clear language with which to condemn them when they do.
