== Vulnerabilities ==

For all their power, the Megatrons had recurring weaknesses. Their ferrous construction made them vulnerable to magnetism and certain forms of electrical attack. Their size made them difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. Their reliance on remote command signals created opportunities for jamming, signal tracing, or hacking. Their immense weight also made bridges, tunnels, rooftops, and unstable ground dangerous for them.

The Unity League gradually became more effective at fighting them. Early battles were desperate confrontations. Later encounters often became contests of tactics, with the heroes working to immobilize the robot, protect civilians, isolate Brainwave’s control signal, and prevent the machine from reaching its intended target.
