Pain is honest.” <br>— Anarky </div> Anarky is the cybernetically enhanced identity of Liam O'Meara, a former Belfast enforcer turned mercenary and one of the most brutal field commanders in HAVOC. Known for his savagery, unpredictability, and sheer physical power, Anarky thrives in chaos and destruction. == Origin == Liam O’Meara grew up in the violent streets of Belfast during a period of intense conflict. He quickly found his place as a thug and gang enforcer, where his natural aptitude for violence distinguished him from his peers. For O’Meara, killing was not merely a necessity—it was something he understood, even enjoyed. His life took a catastrophic turn when he was caught in the blast of a car bomb of his own design. The explosion should have killed him. Instead, his associates recovered what remained and arranged for his reconstruction. Using advanced cybernetic augmentation, O’Meara was rebuilt with a reinforced endoskeleton and extensive internal systems. The process saved his life and enhanced his physical capabilities—but it also destabilized his mind. == Rebirth In Violence == Following his reconstruction, O’Meara emerged changed. Whether due to neurological damage, trauma, or the effects of his cybernetics, he became erratic, sadistic, and increasingly detached from any sense of loyalty or restraint. He turned on the very people who had saved him. One by one, he hunted down his former allies in Belfast, killing them in ways that reflected both his ingenuity and his growing cruelty. Each death was more elaborate than the last, cementing his reputation as something far worse than a common enforcer. With no ties left and no cause remaining, O’Meara embraced a new identity: Anarky. == HAVOC == Anarky’s reputation as a relentless and unpredictable killer eventually brought him to the attention of HAVOC. Within the organization, his willingness to carry out extreme operations made him an invaluable asset. He rose quickly through the ranks, proving himself in high-risk missions where brutality and intimidation were as important as success. Over time, he became one of HAVOC’s supreme field commanders, leading operations that required overwhelming force and absolute disregard for collateral damage. == Powers == Anarky’s abilities stem from his cybernetic reconstruction. * Enhanced Strength – Possesses immense physical power far beyond human limits * Enhanced Durability – His reinforced body can withstand extreme punishment * Energy Absorption – Can absorb and dissipate certain forms of projected energy * Cyborg Physiology – Internal systems provide stability, resilience, and sustained combat capability These enhancements make him exceptionally difficult to stop in direct confrontation. == Skills == Anarky is a highly dangerous combatant. * Master of hand-to-hand combat * Skilled in stealth and tactical movement * Experienced in urban warfare and close-quarters combat * Proficient with a wide range of weapons and explosives His methods combine military precision with unpredictable brutality. == Technology == Anarky makes use of a wide array of destructive weaponry. * Energy weapons * Flame-based weapons * Bladed weapons * Shaped charges and demolition devices His cybernetic body allows him to wield heavier and more dangerous equipment than most operatives. == Personality == Anarky is unstable, violent, and driven by a distorted philosophy that glorifies chaos. He rejects structure, loyalty, and ideology, seeing them as illusions that inevitably collapse under pressure. Despite this, he is not without cunning. He understands fear, uses it effectively, and often turns psychological pressure into a weapon as potent as any blade or bomb. He does not simply fight his enemies. He dismantles them. == Legacy == Anarky represents the endpoint of violence without restraint: a man remade into a weapon who chose to become something worse. Within HAVOC, he is both an asset and a risk—too effective to discard, too dangerous to fully trust. Where Anarky walks, destruction follows. And where destruction takes hold, he feels most at home. </div> CCNav
