'''Black Light''' is a covert international intelligence and counter-threat organization dedicated to protecting humanity from existential dangers beyond the reach of ordinary governments and conventional agencies. Operating almost entirely in secrecy, Black Light intervenes against threats ranging from terrorist conspiracies and rogue metahumans to artificial intelligences, occult phenomena, and destabilizing technologies capable of endangering the world itself.

To most of the public, Black Light does not officially exist.

Among intelligence circles, however, the organization has acquired an almost mythical reputation. Governments deny knowledge of it. Conspiracy theorists obsess over it. Criminal syndicates fear it. In whispered conversations among spies, mercenaries, and supervillains, Black Light is described as the agency that appears when a crisis becomes too dangerous, too politically sensitive, or too catastrophic for ordinary authorities to handle.

== Mission ==

Black Light exists to confront threats that transcend national borders and political interests. Unlike conventional intelligence agencies, it does not serve any single government or ideology.
