== Origin ==

Oliver Lawrence grew up in privilege in [[Crucible:Pacific City|Pacific City]], the son of '''Dr. Tobias Lawrence''', a brilliant and reclusive physicist. His life changed abruptly when his father vanished under mysterious circumstances.

Before disappearing, Dr. Lawrence left Oliver with a strange invention: a glowing ring designed to harness the power of '''gravitational waves'''.

At first, Oliver did not understand its purpose.

When he placed the ring on his finger, however, its function became clear.

The device granted him the ability to manipulate gravity itself—lifting objects, generating force, and bending energy fields through sheer will. Armed with these abilities, Oliver took on the identity of '''Blazar'''.

== Supernova Squadron ==

As a teenager, Blazar joined the '''Supernova Squadron''', a team of young heroes operating out of [[Crucible:Nathaniel Nova High School|Nathaniel Nova High School]].

Within the group, he served as both a heavy hitter and a tactical anchor, using his versatile powers to control the battlefield. His calm demeanor and intelligence made him a stabilizing presence among his peers.

But for Oliver, heroics were never the whole story.

He was looking for his father.

== The Search For Dr. Lawrence ==

Oliver’s search became a defining arc of his early life.

With the help of powerful allies including [[Crucible:Empress|Empress]] and [[Crucible:Wonderos|Wonderos]], he eventually succeeded in locating Dr. Tobias Lawrence. The truth behind his disappearance—and what he had uncovered—remains only partially known.

The reunion gave Oliver closure.

It also forced him to grow up.
