== Origin ==

Drew Sheffield was a promising young officer within PHASE II when a catastrophic accident left him severely injured. Rather than lose him, PHASE II selected Sheffield as the sole candidate for an experimental program:

The COBRA initiative.

The goal was ambitious—create the ultimate battlefield reconnaissance and strike operative through advanced cybernetic enhancement.

Sheffield survived the procedure.

He was the only one who ever did.

== Watchstar ==

Following his transformation, Cobra was recruited by [[Crucible:The Gauntlet|the Gauntlet]] to join the third [[Crucible:Watchstar|Watchstar]] team.

Within Watchstar, Cobra quickly established himself as a reliable field operative and strategist, excelling in high-risk missions that required infiltration, precision, and adaptability.

His effectiveness led to greater responsibility.

Eventually, Cobra relocated to California to lead [[Crucible:Watchstar West|Watchstar West]], bringing his structured, mission-focused approach to the team.

== Knight/Watch ==

As Watchstar West evolved into [[Crucible:Knight/Watch|Knight/Watch]], Cobra remained at its head, guiding the team through a new era of operations.
