'''Coyote''' is the vigilante identity of '''Rynna Raintree''', a master thief and elite hacker whose life of crime led her into a larger world of conflict—and eventually, redemption. Once a career criminal living by instinct and opportunity, she now operates as a reserve member of [[Crucible:Watchstar|Watchstar]], bringing her unique talents to the side of the law.

== Origin ==

Rynna Raintree, a full-blooded Cherote Indian, left the reservation at a young age and quickly found herself surviving on the margins. Her early life was marked by a revolving door of trouble: arrests, reform schools, and a growing reputation for theft.

She had a natural talent for it.

Robbery, larceny, hijacking—Rynna developed a reputation as someone who could take almost anything, from anywhere. It was less a skill she learned than one she refined, an instinct sharpened by necessity and opportunity.

== The Hacker Identity ==

Eventually, Rynna fell in with a group of computer hackers, expanding her skillset from physical theft to digital infiltration. It was during this period that she adopted the name '''Coyote''', reflecting both her cunning and her ability to slip through cracks others didn’t even see.

That reputation led her into dangerous territory.

While breaking into a high-security system, Coyote accessed classified [[Crucible:Transasia|Transasian]] data—information she was never meant to see. The breach triggered an immediate response, and suddenly she wasn’t the hunter anymore.

She was the target.

== Transasian Conflict ==

Coyote’s exposure to Transasian operations pulled her into a global conflict she had never intended to join. When [[Crucible:Transasia|Transasia]] launched its invasion of [[Crucible:Isola|Isola]], she found herself in a position to help—and made the unexpected choice to do so.

Her knowledge of systems, networks, and infiltration proved invaluable to [[Crucible:Watchstar|Watchstar]] during the conflict.

What began as survival became something else.

== Watchstar ==

Following the events in Isola, Coyote developed an ongoing relationship with Watchstar, eventually accepting a role as a reserve member. While she has never fully shed her independent streak, she has proven reliable when it matters.

She still operates on her own terms.

She just chooses better targets now.

== Skills ==

Coyote’s abilities are grounded in experience and instinct.
