== Origin ==

The mob took notice.

In retaliation, they struck at him where he was most vulnerable, killing his wife and daughter in an act meant to silence him and serve as a warning to others. Instead of breaking him, the attack reshaped his life entirely.

Drawing on his military training and investigative experience, Patton adopted a new identity.

He became the '''Crusader'''.
