== Origin ==

Melissa Barnes was a young attorney representing a scientist who had come into possession of a strange meteorite. What appeared to be an unusual mineral specimen was, in fact, something far more extraordinary: a sentient green crystal computer imprinted with the mind and instincts of an alien warrior.

When the crystal came into contact with Melissa, it bonded with her nervous system. The fusion was irreversible, granting her access to immense physical power, flight, and the ability to channel cosmic energy. It also linked her to the alien intelligence within the stone, giving her a legacy she had never sought.

Taking the name '''Jade''', Melissa chose to use her new abilities in the service of justice.

== Heroic Career ==

Jade quickly became known as a high-flying and powerful superhero, combining courtroom discipline with tremendous physical and cosmic force. Her legal background shaped her sense of responsibility, giving her a strong belief in justice as something more than punishment or victory.
