Born in Greece and later becoming a citizen of the United States, Commander Janos Diamantis rose through the ranks of [[Crucible:PHASE II|PHASE II]] to become one of the organization’s most experienced and unconventional field leaders.

Diamantis built his reputation through a combination of audacity, instinct, and an almost supernatural willingness to ignore conventional procedure whenever he believed results demanded it. Although many senior officials within PHASE II have found him infuriating over the years, few can argue with his success rate.

He genuinely loves his work and thrives in chaotic situations that would overwhelm more cautious commanders. His operational philosophy often involves taking ideas so far outside accepted procedure that, as one colleague famously remarked, “you can’t even see the box anymore.”
