I prefer a good desk and a working phone.”
— Larry Lefkowitz
== Background == Lawrence Templeton Lefkowitz is a United States Postal Service mail carrier assigned to a route that includes Unity Hall, headquarters of the Unity League. This fortunate circumstance has made Larry one of the happiest mailmen in America. As the League’s unofficial historian and perhaps its single most enthusiastic fan, Larry personally delivers mountains of fan mail, publicity materials, invitations, complaints, marriage proposals, conspiracy theories, and occasionally dangerous packages to Unity Hall on a daily basis. Larry also serves as president of the Unity League Fan Club, a role he approaches with near-religious devotion. He maintains enormous scrapbooks, clipping files, timelines, and handwritten notes documenting the careers, battles, allies, enemies, costume changes, headquarters, and historical events associated with the team. Although not officially employed by the League itself, Larry is considered a familiar and generally welcome presence around Unity Hall. One of the proudest moments of his life was discovering that he had appeared as himself in several issues of the Unity League comic book. == Skills And Personality == Larry possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the Unity League, its members, supporting cast, villains, and history. Many heroes have jokingly remarked that Larry remembers details even they have forgotten. He is cheerful, talkative, enthusiastic, and utterly incapable of resisting the opportunity to casually mention League members during ordinary conversation. Despite his excitable personality, Larry is also an exceptionally dedicated postal worker who takes his responsibilities very seriously and is proud of his service record. == Notes == Larry Lefkowitz represents the classic Silver Age “superhero superfan” archetype: the ordinary civilian who genuinely loves heroes, comics, and the larger-than-life world around him.
