== Background ==

Poltergeist first appeared as an unlikely addition to the third [[Crucible:Watchstar|Watchstar]] team, initially presenting himself under the identity of a plumber named “Paul T. Guest.” Despite the implausibility of his cover, he quickly proved himself useful in the field, contributing to missions with a combination of improvisation and absurdity that often achieved results no conventional approach could match.

Over time, inconsistencies in his behavior and abilities led to further investigation, culminating in a revelation that redefined his place in the larger conflict.

== The Terror ==

Poltergeist was discovered to be a separated fragment of [[Crucible:The Terror|the Terror]], an immense interdimensional entity that had previously threatened multiple realities.
