== Background ==

X'ticcix was born into the '''Psi-Brood''', a specialized caste within Zyntheran society whose members possess innate psychic abilities and are conditioned from birth for roles of defense and coordination. Zynthera itself is a hive-world, its civilization structured around shared awareness and cooperative function, with individuals serving as extensions of a larger whole.

Probus was never intended to be solitary.

Circumstances made him so.

During a major incursion by the [[Crucible:S'Taa Dominion|S'Taa Dominion]], Zynthera faced devastation. The intervention of the [[Crucible:Karnak Empire|Karnak Empire]] turned the tide of the conflict, preserving the hive and its people from annihilation.
