'''Siren''' is a member of an ancient race of ocean-dwelling merfolk who emerged from centuries of isolation to confront the growing threat of human expansion and environmental destruction. Though initially an adversary to surface society, she later became an uneasy ally, joining [[Crucible:Sierra Force|Sierra Force]] before ultimately returning to the depths.

== Background ==

Siren belongs to a hidden civilization that has existed beneath the oceans for millennia, largely separate from human history. Her people developed in the deep, adapting to extreme pressures, temperatures, and the vast, unlit expanses of the ocean floor. Their culture valued distance and secrecy, avoiding contact with the surface world except in rare and carefully controlled circumstances.

That isolation began to erode as human activity extended into previously untouched regions. Industrial waste, deep-sea drilling, and expanding naval presence intruded upon territories her people had long considered inviolate. What had once been distant became immediate.

For Siren, the change demanded a response.

== Conflict With The Surface ==
