== Viking Raider ==

Long before the rise of modern civilization, Bork Cloud-Rider — remembered in fragmented Norse sagas as Bork Ericsson — terrorized the North Sea as one of the fiercest Viking raiders of his age. Enormously strong, fearless in combat, and utterly convinced of his own destiny, Bork built his reputation through conquest, warfare, and sheer physical dominance.

Legends describe him as a warrior who laughed during storms and challenged rival jarls to duels simply to relieve boredom.

Even by Viking standards, he was considered excessive.

Then one night, the sky opened.

== Abduction ==

While sailing through violent northern seas, Bork and his crew witnessed a blazing light descending from the heavens. Interpreting it as a sign from the gods, Bork refused to flee even as the rest of his men panicked.

The “divine” visitors turned out to be extraterrestrials.

The aliens abducted Bork and transported him far from Earth, selecting him as a specimen for use within vast interstellar gladiatorial arenas where enhanced warriors fought for entertainment across alien civilizations.

For centuries, Bork endured endless combat against creatures, machines, and champions drawn from countless worlds.

And survived all of it.

The aliens subjected Bork to extensive experimentation designed to improve his physical abilities and increase his value as a combatant. The process amplified his strength, durability, reflexes, and endurance to superhuman levels.

Most importantly, it gave him time.

To Bork, however, one truth remained unchanged:

the strong ruled the weak.
