Determined to bring those responsible to justice, Benton turned to a revolutionary piece of technology—an experimental set of mechanical wings developed by a close friend. With them, he could achieve powered flight without an aircraft.

Donning the wings and a distinctive costume, Benton became '''The Condor'''.
