Real Name: Anton Leferrier
Background: Olympic fencer and entrepreneur Anton Leferrier was driven bankrupt and blamed Andrews International for his loss. He swore revenge and adopted the persona of the Swordsman, robber of the rich and champion of the poor. In his larcenous criminal career, he has fought many superheroes over the years but has been a particular enemy of Shadow.
Status: Currently serving time in prison for multiple crimes.
Skills: Leferrier is a master swordsman and hand-to-hand combatant, as well as a trained acrobat. The guy also knows how to make a hell of an entrance.
Technology: Although the Swordsman's weapons and costume look archaic, they are made of the most modern materials available. His swords are tritanium blades that incorporate ranged attacks like electrical beams. He also has used modern vehicles such as helicopters for transportation.
