Real Name: Leonard Nemo

Background: Unity City robotics engineer Leonard Nemo was a brilliant but dreamy man who had trouble focusing on his work and was threatened with firing if he didn't shape up. He invented a technology to create a direct remote pathway between human brains and electronic ones. With no volunteers, he implanted a control unit in his own brain that would enable him to remote control advanced electronic devices like robots and computers. But the control unit suppressed his emotions and made him cold and hard. He first used it for revenge on his coworkers and then attempted to use it to make himself wealthy by remote controlling machines to rob banks. He was stopped by the Unity League. His power grew and he became more dangerous over time, and soon he was one of the deadliest and most perilous foes of the Unity League.

Later, he formed the Fearsome Five alliance to fight the Unity League.

Powers: Brainwave can exert direct control over electronic machines like computers and robots. At this point, most of Brainwave's cerebrum has been replaced with his 'menton' technology, including a menton energy reactor. He has a variety of psychic weapons he can use against both people and machines.

Tech: Brainwave is a brilliant roboticist and has attacked Unity City on more than one occasion with deadly robotic force. Recently he sent a giant robot he called Megatron to destroy downtown Unity City, but the Unity League stopped him. He maintains a small army of robots he calls his Deathdroids. For personal protection, Brainwave usually wears a force field generator of his own design.
