Real Name: Devon Gray

Background: Devon Gray is the son of Lucius Gray, better known as the Silver Age parahuman terrorist Lucifer. A parahuman like his father, Devon has fought most of his life to live down his father's legacy of terror. His parahuman heat powers manifested during his adolescence. At first, he supported his father, but later came see him as evil and to work against him. Inferno was a charter member of Watchstar and is a veteran superhero. He is well-known to be uncompromising and tough-minded.

Devon's sister is the West Coast hero Corona.

Status: Active

Powers: By genetic mutation, Inferno possesses heat and fire powers. He can ignite fires and melt solid objects and is impervious to harm by heat or fire. He is able to use his heat powers as a form of rocket propulsion, enabling him to fly at high speeds. Inferno is also enormously strong and durable.
