The Shooting Star II is custom-built turbojet, constructed for Watchstar by the famous Andrews Aviation Skunkworks in Nevada. The aircraft serves as the team's primary transportation to remote locations and is hangared at the Watchstar base in Long Island Sound. The aircraft is a replacement for the original Shooting Star, which was destroyed in action over Transasia, but the new model incorporates many improvements in speed, range, and defenses. Both ships were named for the late superhero Shooting Star, who was killed in action early in Watchstar's history.
