Real Name: John Yamaguchi
Background: John Yamaguchi was a brilliant but underappreciated metallurgist working on advanced alloys for military applications. When a lab sabotage caused a catastrophic explosion, John was exposed to his experimental liquid metal compound and transformed into living steel. The accident left him indestructible but unable to feel touch or warmth, fueling his bitterness. Blaming the world for his condition, he adopted the name Vulcan, using his immense strength, metallic body, and heat-manipulation powers to exact revenge on those he deemed responsible. His once-kind heart now hardened, Vulcan seeks to reshape the world in his image, regardless of the destruction it brings.
Powers: Vulcan's body is made of living steel, and he is super-strong and nearly invulnerable.
