Real Name: Kody Blake
Background: Kodiak is an artificial life form created by Clone Master as the ultimate warrior. He escaped his creator, however, and fled to Canada, living alone in the wilds for a time. He eventually drifted to the United States, where he decided to use his superior strength to help others.
As a New York City crimefighter, he was active for several years in partnership with Overcoat.
Kodiak was kidnapped by Clone Master during the alien invasion known as the Hero Wars. Rescued by Watchstar, he joined the team and was a founding member of Watchstar West, which eventually became Knight/Watch.
Kodiak has also been a frequent partner of the superhero Rebel. For a time, he was married to Jade and the two have a child together named Dakota. Kodiak has a clone brother known as Blood and a genetic cousin known as Feral.
After a life-threatening crisis related to his genetic composition, he retired from the superhero world briefly to run a school for young superheroes called Watchstar Academy. The superhero Horus was the most successful graduate of the school.
After his crisis had passed, he returned to New York, his old home, to re-open his bar, the Bear's Den , which was originally destroyed by Brimstone some time ago. However, the bar was destroyed a second time in a battle with the demonic assassin Mr. Friendly. Shortly thereafter, Kodiak partnered with the young superhero Mistral for a time, but the two have since parted ways.

Powers: Kodiak has superhuman strength and durability. He can also summon energy into his hands for use as a weapon which he calls his power punch.
Skills: Kodiak is an extremely skilled hand-to-hand fighter and has vast experience as an adventurer and superhero.As a bartender, he can also mix a mean margarita.
Technology: Kodiak's 'bodysuit' is a living symbiote made by Clone Master . It provides Kodiak extra protection and helps regulate his metabolism.
