Real Name: Jack Jefferson

Sarge (Robert Bruce MacTavish)

Background: In the early 1900s, Jack Jefferson, a Midwestern barnstorming pilot, passed through a strange energy cloud over a Kansas wheatfield and was struck by a green lightning bolt. As a result, he was gained super strength and toughness. Scientists attributed his powers to the way his muscles reacted against Earth's gravity, giving him the name G-Man.

As G-Man, Jack fought crime and injustice, and then served his country honorably in the Great War, battling the threat of Death's-Head time and again.

Years later, he served as an inspiration to heroes of the Second World War, such as the Victory Squadron.

Status: Unknown

Powers: G-Man had superior strength and toughness.

Skills: G-Man was a skilled combatant. He was also an expert biplane pilot.

Ling Po

Technology: G-Man loved to use handguns. Sidekicks: G-Man was aided in his exploits by three sidekicks.

• Sarge (Robert Bruce McTavish) was a US Army sergeant major who was G-Man's companion throughout the Great War and beyond.
• Ling Po was G-Man's driver, a skilled martial artist and laundryman.
• Scamp was a scrappy mongrel dog rescued from a French battlefield who proved to be extremely intelligent and brave under fire.
