Real Name: Alessandra "Alex" Altamira

Background: Alessandra Altamira as an orphan who grew up in Pacific City, California, and was in and out of foster care. Alex affected goth styles and music. An apt student, she attended Nathaniel Nova High School, where her best friend was Tawny Daniels. After discovering she had exceptional, inexplicable powers, she eventually fell in with the young heroes calling themselves Supernova Squadron.

Later, Alex found out her biological mother was a human nun who had given up her daughter for adoption and that Alex herself was a parahuman. Alex struck out on her own, looking for more information about her parents. In recent years, she has returned to Pacific City as an active superhero. She has become a sort of mentor to the current generation of Supernova Squadron.
