Real Name: John "Jacko" Callahan
Background: Jacko Callahan grew up in the Australian Outback, raised by a family of park rangers. While defending his home from poachers, Jack was caught in a mysterious explosion at a hidden Cadre research facility. The accident altered his physiology, granting him extreme strength, agility, and reflexes, mimicking the power and movement of a kangaroo. Combining his new abilities with years of martial arts training, Jacko took on the mantle of Roo, a protector of both the environment and the vulnerable. With his powerful legs and unshakable resolve, Roo fights to defend Australia’s wilderness and its people from any threat. The American superhero Rebel has had occasion to team with him more than once.
