Crucible:Blackhearts

The Blackhearts are female-only group of supervillains, formed by Arctique during a short stay in Black Iron Correctional Facility some time ago. In the team's long career, they have come into conflict with many superheroes. The Blackhearts were once nearly responsible for the complete destruction of the earth by attempting to tap its magma core, but this plan was stopped by the Corsairs.

The team consists of:

• Arctique (Dr Tamara Stevens) is the team's leader. She uses her vast personal wealth to fund the group's activities.
• Ace of Spades (Heather Maxx) is a skilled ninja who was trained as a saboteur by a large, ruthless corporation. She possesses a psychic luck factor that seems to make events turn out in her favor.
• Esper (Davie Steiner) is a young, natural-born psychic with immense powers and a really bad attitude.
• Virago (Lorelei Martin) is nearly invulnerable to physical harm and is superhumanly strong.
• Sorceri (Jessica Lindon) is the reincarnation of an ancient Greek goddess, who has occupied the body of a human woman. She has seductive and shape-shifting magic abilities.
• Voodoo (V'dou V'dou) is an alien bounty hunter from a far world, stranded on Earth by accident.
