Crucible:Thokk

Background: The alien machine known as Thokk was created as a guardian for the next generation of a humanoid race at war. When their home sun went nova and incinerated their planet, Thokk's programming was corrupted. The robot travelled the galaxy, looking for the humanoids who created it, so it could guard the next generation.

On reaching Earth, Thokk attempted to abduct hundreds of children and cocoon them in a protective sphere, where it could permanently guard them. However, it was stopped through the efforts of several superheroes, including Shadow and Kodiak.

Thokk has since returned on several occasions to threaten Earth.

Status: Unknown

Technology: Thokk has a vast array of integral weapons systems. Thokk's systems also include matter duplicators that allow it to build multiple temporary copies of itself, which can work in concert as a single machine.
