Real Name: Antoinette D'Archangelo

Background: During the Silver Age, the Pearl was an elite operative and troubleshooter for the world-spanning organization PHASE II. Her ethnic origin and background is uncertain, but she appears to have been Eurasian. Based in swinging London, she was responsible for foiling many of the plans of HAVOC , and she often came into conflict with the supervillains of the time. She was partnered with the agent known as The Griffin for some time during the early 1960s.

Skills: D'Archangelo was a master of firearms, stealth, intrusion, intelligence gathering, and the martial arts. She was also a jet-setting connoisseur of the best in life: food, wine, and travel, always on the scene at Cannes or Monte Carlo.

Technology: D'Archangelo wielded a variety of high-tech weaponry and equipment, but favored an advanced laser pistol.
