Real Name: Clement Clapp

Background: Clement Clapp was a parahuman, born with the extremely, possibly unique power of prehensile hair. Soon after discovering his abilities during puberty, he decided to use his powers to help people. If being super-hirsute was his Destiny, then Destiny called! He would become a superhero. Calling himself Shagg, he patrolled his hometown of Buttzville, New Jersey, fighting crime and bringing the law to the lawless. He would have stayed in Buttzville, but Destiny had other plans. During a day trip to Manhattan with his local 4-H Club, he happened to stop into Kodiak's bar. the Bear's Den, where he met Jersey Devil. The two decided on the spot to form a super-team.

Group Affiliation: The Good Guys

Powers: Shagg can instantly extrude his body hair up to 10 meters in length, and he can control the hair to manipulate heavy objects. The strength of his hair puts him on a par with some of Earth's strongest superhumans.

Skills: Shagg is a self-trained superhero with some skill in hand to hand fighting.
