Real Name: Carolyn Hyland

Background: Carolyn Hyland was a parahuman with the ability to create realistic illusions. In her small Southern town, her powers were taken as evidence of demonic influence. Her family was ostracized and harassed until one night when a mob came to kill them. Carolyn's parents were killed, but she used her powers to escape and kill a few of her parents' murderers before she fled her town forever. She swore no one would ever treat her that way again. When she met Claw, he convinced her to fight for something greater: parahuman rights. She took the name Halo and happily joined Factor M, and it was not long before she her new friends descended on her small town...and levelled it.

Powers: Halo is capable of generating realistic illusions in other minds. She appears to have other psionic abilities as well.

Skills: Halo has received combat training from Claw and is a skilled combatant. She is also expert at breaking and entering, a skill she learned when she was on the run.
